Flying M Air is pleased to be flying in the Lake Powell area during the months of August and September 2008. We’ll be based in Page, AZ for most of these two months, serving all communities within 75 miles.
Join us for a custom photo flight over Lake Powell, including such sights as Horseshoe Bend, the Glen Canyon Dam, Rainbow Bridge, the Confluence of the San Juan River and more! We’re the only helicopter operator at the lake this summer and we’re ready to meet the needs of folks who want something more than the same air tour everyone else is taking. Whether you’re a professional or amateur photographer interested in getting perfect, unobstructed views of the scenery through our special “bubble” observation windows or a vacationer interested in taking a day trip to Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, or Bryce Canyon that you’ll never forget, Flying M Air has you covered.

Breakfast or Lunch at Marble Canyon:
Includes flight from Page past Glen Canyon Dam and Horseshoe Bend, down the Colorado River to Marble Canyon at the foot of the Vermillion Cliffs. After landing at the airstrip, you can walk across the street for lunch at the cafe. Fly fishing is also available. Return by more direct route to Page Airport. $199 per person. Additional charge will be applied is pilot is required to wait more than 90 minutes at Marble Canyon.
Breakfast or Lunch at Gouldings Lodge in Monument Valley:
Includes flight along shore of Lake Powell past Navajo Mountain to Monument Valley, brief overflight of west side of park, landing at Gouldings Lodge, transpiration from airstrip to restaurant and gift shop and back, and return flight to Page along the lake. $349 per person. Additional charge will be applied is pilot is required to wait more than 90 minutes at Monument Valley.
Monument Valley Tour:
Same as above but includes Goulding’s 3-1/2 hour ground tour of Monument Valley with multiple stops within the park. This is an experience of a lifetime! $399 per person includes ground tour.
Grand Canyon Day Trip:
Spend the Day at Grand Canyon National Park — without making the long drive! Depart Page with overflights of the Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend, Marble Canyon, and the Little Colorado River Gorge. We’ll land at Grand Canyon Airport where you can either take an air tour with one of the local operators or take a taxi into the park. With an early enough start time, you can do both! Spend up to 6 hours at the park while your pilot waits. Then return to Page by a more direct route over the Navajo Reservation. $399 per person includes round trip transportation from Page to Grand Canyon Airport and pilot waiting time.
Important Notes about Pricing:
There is a 2-person minimum per flight. We can take up to three people at a time; weight limits apply. Longer custom flights are charged at $249 per hour per person. 10% discount for children when accompanied by at least one adult. Prices do not include food for trips with stops.
Important Note about Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon:
Flying M Air is not permitted to do tours of Monument Valley or the Grand Canyon. Our flights to these destinations are for transportation purposes only. Although the helicopter flight offers excellent views along the way, we are not a tour operator. In addition we are not permitted to enter the restricted airspace of the Grand Canyon.
