Flying M Air will be at Page Airport on beautiful Lake Powell from September 11 through September 25. While there, we will be offering doors-off photo flights over Lake Powell for photographers or videographers. We can accommodate up to two people, depending on weight.

There is no helicopter operator with more experience flying over Lake Powell than Flying M Air. We know the lake and the areas favored by photographers. We’ve conducted more than 70 photo flights over the lake in the past four years, from Marble Canyon and Lees Ferry, all the way up to the confluence of the Green River and Colorado Rivers in Canyonlands National Park. We’ve also explored the San Juan River Arm to Goosenecks and beyond and the Escalante Arm to its entry into the lake’s main body.

Be Spontaneous and Save!

Normally, to book a photo flight at Lake Powell, you’d also have to pay the cost to get our helicopter up there: $1,980 for the four-hour round-trip flight. But because we’ll already be at Lake Powell, you’ll save all that and pay only for the time you fly at our usual rate of $495/hour for up to two people (not each). If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to photograph the lake without paying the cost of getting a helicopter there, now is the time.

Flights can be scheduled during the following time slots:
September 11-20: any time
September 21: 12 PM to 4 PM
September 22: 10 AM to 4 PM
September 23: 10 AM to 4 PM
September 24: any time
September 25: dawn through 4 PM

There is a one-hour minimum per flight. All flights are billed based on the on-board Hobbs meter, which records time in 1/10th hour.
